My Story

In 2005, I walked into a stained glass shop, wanting to have a piece made for our new home. The owner of the shop said they offered classes and  I could learn to make my own stained glass piece. I took her up on it, immediately fell in love and I’ve been doing glass ever since.

Two years later I started working there, making custom pieces, drawing patterns and teaching classes. The owner and I established a beautiful relationship— she became my mentor and friend, while I became the daughter she never had. I dedicate the name 1328 Stained Glass Studio in her memory as 1328 was the street number of the shop she created many years ago.

The shop still exists and produces beautiful stained glass art in a different location and with a new owner (the kindest and most genuine person on the planet). I have recently stepped away from the day to day shop life, to focus on creating my own legacy. I hope 1328 will remind us all to be creative and kind.
